Jam Pack Weekend!!!!

This weekend was wonderful especially Sunday. Friday Ron and I went to the Movies and saw "I Love you Man" It was hilarious. Saturday night I was supposed to go out with Ron but he called and asked if we could go out on Sunday instead. It was his weekend to work so I knew he was tired. Plus I really needed to relax and get up for church. So Saturday night I ended up going over to Lauren Baird's house and watched the movie "Role Models"- After that movie Lauren and I decided that we are going to the Renaissance Fare this year- It looks so much fun haha. We are such dorks. Anyway Sunday I got up early and met Erica and Lauren Baird at Church. It was a great sermon. After Church Lauren and I went and ate at Northshore yummy!! After that we decided it was such a pretty day that we had to do something so we ended up at the Aquriam haha. We had a blast. The penguins of course were my favorite and petting the stringer rays. After that I had to pick my mom up at the airport and take her home. Ron called on the way and said he wanted to take the Dogs to the park after he got off of work- YEA that sounded like so much fun. So Ron, Me, Alison and Jason plus 3 Big dogs all headed to the park. The dogs were in heaven and then we were heaven when we sled down the hill. Ron was like a little kid at the candy shop. He loved going down the hill. We ended the night at Las Mas for some much need food and some beers. Overall I just love having days like that. I felt like I made the most of my Sunday. I can't wait until next weekend :o)

Top of the Morning to Everyone,

I talked to my mom today and she was telling Linda that it was St. Patty's Day. She also told Linda if she remember writing a story about being an Leprechaun in Middle School and Linda started laughing (Mom said it really was a great story haha). The even better news was the fact that she wanted to let everyone know that she did not vote for G.W. Bush that she in fact voted for Obmama. She also told my mom that she had the worst headache. I think all this sounds so promising and what a huge difference from a couple of days ago. Her blood pressure was low today but they have controlled it now and they are keeping an eye on it. Other than that Linda is doing so good and is so strong and I know that she wouldn't have made it this far if it weren't for everyone praying. Thanks so much we really appreciate it. Apparently four or five different Churches are praying for Linda as well as Covenant College. It is truly amazing!!! Happy St. Patrick's Day from our Family!!!!! Much Love, Katherine McClister

P.S. if anyone wants to join Ron and I we are going to Taco Mac at 8:00 to enjoy pints of genius for a dollar and then we are off to pub crawl all downtown. So far we have 16 people coming. Its going to be so much fun and anyone is invited. More the Merrier.

My Aunt- PLEASE PRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys,
My Aunt was working out and started having a bad headache on Saturday. She is is battling Leukemia and breast cancer right now so Her husband Rob thought it might be a good idea just go see the doctor to make sure everything was ok. By the time she got to the hospital she was already in a coma. She suffered a Ruptured Brain Aneurysm. This has nothing to do with the cancer. I am telling you this because my mother wants me to start a Pray circle. Right now the only thing that will help my Aunt is if everyone might say alittle pray for her. I would really appreciate it. At this point it is a 50/50 chance but progress was shown last night as my Aunt gave a thumbs up sign and squeezed my mother hand twice. Please just take a moment and pray- its our only hope!

I talked to my mom this morning and last night when my Mom got to the hospital- She went over to Linda and said- Hey Linda its me Kathy will you please squeeze my hand if you can hear me- and Linda squeezed twice. Which is very promising. She also gave the doctor two thumbs up but when asked to show two fingers she only showed one. She is still in and out of consciousness or the coma. Rob finally is doing better but still knows that we are not out of the clear by a long shot. The concern now is that they can't find where the aneurysm ruptured. This is so important because Linda could have another Aneurysm and if she does she will not survive it. My mom said that pretty much they had to shave her head and that she has a huge tube coming out of the top of her head to drain the blood. Right now we need to pray that they find where the aneurysm ruptured and that no brain damage took place or that it isn't to severe. I did do some research I have NOT told my mom these statistics however I think she might already know- The statistics break down like this: 1/3 of people with ruptured aneurysms die before they get to hospital. Of the rest that make it to hospital another 1/3 die after arriving. And of the rest of this number 40% suffer severe brain damage. All we can do is pray- the fact that Linda is responding to family is FANTASTIC. We all know Linda is a very strong person who likes to be in control so I have no doubt that she is fighting and fighting. I think at this point all of Chattanooga is praying for Linda. I know Signal Mtn Presbyterian Church has a pray circle going and I started a pray circle at First Centenary United Methodist. Linda's son David has a huge pray circle going around DC and Rebecca has stepped up to the plate and really has not left her Mother's side. Becca also has been keeping a journal of all the updates. Pray is a very powerful and I know by putting my whole trust in God that everything will turn out the way that it should. I will continue to keep you updated. Lets just pray a Miracle Happens!!!

Much Love,
Katherine McClister
